A Carry-on Capsule
1 carry-on— 4 months— 9 cities.
September marks the start of my 4-month trip through Asia, a journey that spans a range of climates and seasons. This time, I’m putting my own slow fashion designs to the ultimate test. My travel capsule for this trip consists of just 18 versatile slow fashion pieces, all packed into a carry-on bag and a single carry-on luggage! No excess baggage, just thoughtful, functional design that prioritizes sustainability, comfort, and style.
Most of the garments are from Vestige, except for a dress I designed in collaboration with Monos Travel. I’ve also included a packable raincoat and an insulated layer from Muji. Perhaps packable, technical garment will be on my next list of things to design.
Slow fashion is more than a trend—it’s about creating pieces that can be worn in endless ways, that evolve with you, and that don’t contribute to the cycle of waste. Stay tuned as I share how these looks come to life on the road.
